Finding Incorrect Wiring

This outlet tester is showing that the outlet has reversed polarity. This basically means the outlet was wired incorrectly. An appliance or light fixture plugged into an outlet like this may seem to work fine, but it is unsafe. The device could short circuit, shock, or start a fire.
