Insulated Attic Hatch

I pleasantly discovered this on a home inspection this weekend and I highly approve: an insulated attic hatch. This picture shows a Styrofoam block insulating the pull down attic hatch. You simply pull the ladder down and move the block out of the way to gain access to the attic. Replace the block before closing the ladder.
